Three essential mental health volumes for adolescents are now available online in Spanish at www.CopeCareDeal.org. The books provide concise guides to bipolar disorder, depression, and eating disorders, and feature personal stories from teens who have coped with the illnesses.
Created by the Annenberg Foundation Trust at Sunnylands, the books are part of a growing online library offered at no cost to disseminate information on the treatment and prevention of mental disorders in youth. Forthcoming in the new Spanish-language series are books on social anxiety disorder, schizophrenia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, suicide, and substance abuse, to be added in 2009 and 2010.
