Dissemination efforts resulting from the February 2005 retreat on communicating about democracy in the Middle East are progressing steadily. Discovering the Hidden Listener: An Empirical Assessment of Radio Liberty and Western Broadcasting to the USSR during the Cold War, by R. Eugene Parta, is being released by the Hoover Press in February 2007. Copies will be distributed by the Woodrow Wilson Center, Radio Free Europe, and the Hoover Institution. In addition, the book will be posted on the Institution's website.
