A series of Sunnylands Trust video lessons has been honored with a Silver Communicator Award in the education category from the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVS). The "Constitution in Context" segments, in which constitutional scholars and legal experts discuss issues raised by Supreme Court Justices in Sunnylands Conversations on the Constitution films, were selected among approximately 7,000 entries by the IAVS judges to win a silver award of distinction in creative work. Among the topics covered by the experts are due process, the history and structure of the Supreme Court, the Equal Rights Amendment, and Japanese internment case Korematsu v. United States (1944).
